Just wanted to commend you guys. Keep up the good work. Don’t grow up to be wage-slaves. There was a time in American history where the idea of being an employee for all of ones life was inconceivable (except for drunks and losers). For over a century now we raise children to think in terms of lifetime employment. Our founding father would be repulsed by how most Americans think and how we train up our children. Those guys were hardcore entrepreneurs.
Stephen, you are absolutely right! School seems to be training us to become employees and not pursue our own Entrepreneurial spirit!
I’ve struggled with seeing a point in going to college over the past few years but I know that the relationships that I have developed in college are so beneficial to my future that I still would recommend people attend classes. However, when professors tell you something can’t be done by you because you were meant to work for someone else, you know that if you think you can do it, you can absolutely do it.
Anything that we set our minds to can be accomplished as long as we make commitments and set achievable goals.
